Ray is a graduate of Ohio University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy 2011 class. Since then, he has been on a continuous journey to deepen his knowledge of the human body and impairments that come with it. He became an orthopedic specialist in 2014 and completed his fellowship training in orthopedic manual therapy in 2019 through the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy. It was during his fellowship training that he was introduced to breath work and the powerful and beneficial effects it has. He completed the Breathe Your Truth coach certification program in 2021. He currently sees both orthopedic and breath-related patients at Therapeutic Associates Downtown Portland. He is also a faculty member in the TAI Orthopedic Residency and serves as the director for the TAI Mentorship Program. Outside of work, you can find him on his bike, mastering his own breathing practices.
